I loved making this, it was neither difficult, nor boring. The only thing I found a little harder was placing the eyes (needle felted) on the right spot, so the rabbit would have a nice and realistic (not scary or childish or rather stupid) snout.
The yarn I used is Rowan Creative focus worsted. This yarn has a soft feel but is also a bit rustic. Ideal for this project I think. I would not use it for a scarf, too prickly for my liking. And it looses fibre once knitted, like a real rabbit, I guess....
